How vacuum toilets work
The vacuum technology used for the flushing process of a vacuum toilet means they are extremely water efficient, using just 0.8-1.0 litre of water per flush (compared to up to 9 litres with a traditional flushing toilet). When waste is removed by the vacuum action, odours and bioaerosols go too, reducing the chance of nasty smells in the cubicle.

- Each pod requires only 1 x 16amp 240v power (generator hire can be arranged where this is not available).
